BMW Ladies Leather Motorcycle Jacket

BMW Motorrad has shown their new apparel collection for 2016 which includes advances to well-established products as well as new items. Their entire collection is part of the BMW Motorrad “Safety 360°” principle, which regards “innovative equipment” as part of rider safety. And they point out that BMW Motorrad is the only motorcycle manufacturer to develop their own complete range of rider’s equipment itself. And has done so for the past five decades.

BMW Motorrad starts off with their “Adventure Ride” collection including their popular Rallye suit which now comes in new blue/grey and black/red color combinations. Premium quality materials are now used to make this suit: ProTechWool and a carbon-fiber finish provide a bonus in terms of both comfort and safety. The GS Pro boots and the Rallye gloves get updates in design, comfort and safety. A useful addition is the Hydra drink pack, which is an easy-to-use thirst-quencher during travel. Rounding off the look (in markets which sell BMW helmets—not the USA) is the GS Carbon helmet, now on available in “Trophy special decor.”

The “Function in top form” section is intended to keep you warm with attractive, breathable and functional apparel. The Ride fleece jacket now provides both comfort and style in trendy new colors of cream for women and dark blue for men. The Ride windbreaker is a permanent fixture: in spite of its excellent fitting with PU membrane, it can be folded down to a tiny package that fits in its own inside pocket. Meanwhile the Ride T-Shirt and Ride long-sleeve shirt are made of functional materials to help ensure a perfect body temperature. BMW Motorrad has added the Ride sunglasses with metal frame to the range. Meanwhile the Function sunglasses ensure a clear view due to their three different interchangeable plastic lenses. Consistent refinement of well-established equipment is demonstrated by the ProWinter and ProSummer gloves, each of which is perfectly geared towards a specific season. A new item in the program are the DownTown gloves for use in urban traffic. Finally, the waterproof HydroSock function socks offer extra comfort for those who enjoy motorcycling over all types of terrain.

The Style section is filled with elegant equipment for commuters and city cruisers and starts with the SanDiego jacket – available for both men and women – which draws its leather and fashionable mix of materials from its namesake city. The DownTown jacket is excellent in all weather conditions since it’s a “jacket within a jacket.” It has a removable, padded thermal inner jacket that can be worn on its own, too. The City and City Denim motorcycle pants come in distinct styling for men and women. Their sophisticated material mixture of Cordura and cotton is both comfortable and abrasion-resistant. The Summer (unisex) and FivePocket pants – now also for ladies – are perfect for hot days, combining a casual outdoor cut with reliable safety features.
